The course is free of charge to everyone. As we are funded by the UK Government, this course aims to support your movement into building up the industry!

2. What is the Green Skills course about?

This course introduces the concepts of Green Skills in relation to a variety of industries, from electrical to heating to electronics repair. It aims to equip participants with knowledge about the practical skills and career pathways that promote sustainable practices in various industries.

3. Is this course suitable for beginners?

Yes, this course is designed with beginners in mind. It covers the fundamentals of each industry and related green technologies, so it will either be a refresher for you if you have some previous experience or it will be brand new information.

4. How is the course structured over the 2 weeks?

The course consists of 20 hours of self-guided learning. This learning is a combination of text, videos and quizzes. We advise you to spread this learning across 2 weeks, but if you are a keen learner you could complete it in a shorter period.

5. How do I enrol on the course?

Enrolment is done through our website. You will need to fill out the registration form, and you will be emailed with the relevant sign-up information.

6. Do I need any specific software or tools to participate?

The course requires only a stable internet connection and a computer or tablet to complete the course.

7. What happens when I complete the course?

Throughout the course, we will guide you through various career paths and the next steps you can take to start your Green Career. This could be a Skills Bootcamp, Apprenticeship or other type of training course.

8. Is the course all online?

Yes, the whole course is held online through a portal. You will be able to complete the 2-week course from anywhere!

9. Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, once you complete the course you will receive a certificate of completion.

10. Can I take part in this course while working full time?

Absolutely! Our course is designed to be flexible to you and work around your schedule.

11. Can I retake the course if I need to?
